Repeat Prescriptions
The options for ordering repeat prescriptions are
1.Online. Please click on the link above to do this. Ordering online can be the most efficient way to order repeat prescriptions and nominate a pharmacy where you would like to collect them. Further information can be found here NHS App and your NHS account - NHS
2. The white paper copy of the prescription( counterfoil) which comes with your medication from pharmacy. Please only make a tick against those medications which you require and either post to us or drop off at reception.
3. The last option is telephone. These lines can be busy and precedence is given to calls made for appointments and clinical problems, over prescription requests which should be non urgent. If options 1 and 2 are not able to be used, calls for prescriptions must be done Monday to Friday between 10.30am and 12pm only.
***Please make a repeat prescription request at least 1 week before medication runs out***
Please allow at least 48 hours notice excluding bank holidays and weekends for repeat prescription requests to be processed and order before you have run out of medication. Please help us by providing accurate details of the medication you are taking. If you have any problems please contact us after 10.30am Monday to Friday.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
